By Tony Nguyen

SAN JOSE, Calif— Honkai Star Rail was released on April 26, 2023, the game is made by a Chinese company called Mihoyo, which is famous for some of their previous works such as Genshin Impact, Honkai Impact 3rd. The game was released last week, with a lot of hype as the game has been in beta for quite a while. Though the game’s release was highly anticipated, some users experienced problems logging in to the game, but the problem has been solved. (13 out of 20 students at Silver Creek High School are playing the game.)

The game revolves around the main character, a Trailblazer who goes around to different planets, traveling on a train, and helping the world with problems. The game story seems to be going for the long route, which the developer’s previous works can somewhat predict. Honkai Star Rail is a turn-based strategy game in a semi-open world. With a semi-open world map, the game also has a lot of map mechanics, the game is also filled with a lot of amazing (NPCs), that help make the game feel more, and you can also interact with the NPCs by talking to them.

The game also has amazing storytelling, alongside amazing character-building traits. The game made it so that all of the characters feel alive and have their personality, which a lot of games failed to achieve. Along with the amazing story, the game also comes with spectacular visual, and sound designs. Every character has their own unique design that would tell their personality. The Character’s animations are also something that you can’t ignore, the attacking and skills animations are phenomenal, especially the ultimate animation. Of course, to go along with the spectacular gameplay are the amazing soundtracks, with a catchy rhythm, and enthusiastic beats.

With breathtaking storytelling, and striking visual and sound effects, at the price of nothing the game is a must-try for any game enthusiast.
