SAN JOSE, CALIF.—Silver Creek High School’s Senior Class officers include Steffie Duong, president, Krystal Nguyen, vice president, Anne Pham, treasurer, Faith Tran, secretary, and Madison Bartido Ventura, spirit leader.
The officers’ main focus is promoting school spirit, inclusion, and community building. With senior prom, Nonfire, and other school events on the horizon, they hope to make this year memorable and fun for ages to come. Although they come from different middle schools, they all applied to become more involved and make the school year memorable for all. After months of preparation, the officers hope to add something new to school events, a distinctive theme for the senior prom.
Duong serves as a bridge between ASB, Mr. Coloma, and the other class officers. Nguyen, helps wherever needed and takes on responsibilities when others are absent. Pham manages finances for school events and fundraisers. Tran keeps everyone on task, informed and organized. Bartido Ventura is in charge of creating, managing and maintaining a fun, inclusive environment for students and staff.
The officers said, the lessons they learn in these positions will remain useful throughout life. As seniors, they hope to share a message with the Class of 2026. To participate in events, try new things and lend a hand with fundraisers to make this year the best it can be. “Nothing is never embarrassing,” Duong says.
