Seniors Lead the Welcome Back Rally

By Madi Aristorenas

SAN JOSE, CALIF.— Silver Creek’s Associated Student Body raises school spirit and celebrates the class of 2026’s last year of high school at the Welcome Back Rally on Aug. 29, out in X-quad.

Thanks to the class officers’ planning, each class represented a common childhood show, seen in their props and decorations. The freshmen’s theme was “Curious George”, the sophomores were “Wild Krats”, juniors were “Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood” and seniors were “Sesame Street”. ASB organized this rally to introduce class competition events, celebrate the seniors, unite the classes, and allow students to interact and meet new people, while also maintaining Silver Creek traditions. These included interactive games, the senior dance, (choreographed by Krystal Nguyen and Eva Vo), wearing class colors, as well as senior crowns where seniors customized their own crowns to show off their personality at the rally.
