SAN JOSE CALIF.—As spring approaches, there’s multiple varieties of drinks to get; here are some orders that I recommend. 

During spring, the weather could be hot, cold or rainy in California. But at Starbucks there are multiple drinks to sip on to enjoy spring and get ready for the summer. 

The Starbucks that’s closest to Silver Creek High School is located in the Target on Silver Creek Road. “I love Starbucks. They have a ton of varieties of drinks to choose from,” said Jenna Le, a freshman at Silver Creek. 

If you like coffee and mocha, you should get a Blonde Shot in a venti (large) cup.  If you want a full cup, ask for a cup full of ice, two pumps of white mocha, oat milk and Strawberry Cold Foam. It is the perfect balance of sweet because it isn’t too sweet and the Strawberry Cold Foam is a great top off. It should look and layer like three colors, which are brown on the bottom, white in the middle, and pink on top. It should look like an ombre from all the colors layering on top of each other.

The second drink I recommend, especially if you’re not a coffee person, is the Pink Drink with Strawberry Cold Foam, Vanilla Sweet Cold Foam, strawberry puree and 5 pumps of vanilla. The sweetness and cold foam really make it refreshing and when you are in need of a cooling sweet treat. 

If you are a tea drinker and like Chai Latte or Matcha, you should try a Grande (or any sizes you want) Iced Chai Tea Latte with Oat Milk, only two pumps of Chai and add Matcha cold foam. The taste is like a sugar cookie and it has a nice amount of sweetness to it that compliments matcha’s slight bitterness, completing everything. 

One last drink I’ll recommend that I absolutely love and my go to order is an Ice White Mocha with Cherry Cold Foam. Although this is a very simple order it tastes delightful, both sweet and refreshing with the Cold Foam making it taste so creamy and good. You can choose any cold foam you want but it’s best recommended to choose cherry because the flavor isn’t too overpowering and just melts in your mouth.
