SAN JOSE, CALIF.—There are many options to eat after school and if students are indecisive or want to try something new, here are the best restaurants near Silver Creek High School.

Instead of going to the same places over again, here are some most recommended restaurants near Creek for hungry students to go after school.

Pho Y is a seven minute walk away from school and it is one of the best places to go eat if you’re feeling really hungry and want to stop for some warm bowl of noodles. This place is located on Aborn Road and is right next to Q-Pot. If you’re feeling hungry it is one of the best recommended places near Silver Creek. 

There are many varieties of pho to choose from in Pho Y. If you’re a person that enjoys savory beef then I suggest  Pho Dac Biet, which has Vietnamese meatballs, beef, onions, noodles and a rich, delicious beef broth along with it. 

Another recommended dish that I love and an option if you’re not a fan of beef or meatballs is Pho Ga, which is chicken pho. With the choice of what part of the chicken you wish to eat along with, and of course traditional rice noodles.

“I love Pho Y, I always go there on a cold rainy day, I love their Pho Dac Biet” said Aileen Nguyen, a freshman at Silver Creek.

Another option I suggest is HUE Restaurant, located at the plaza at Silver Creek High School, this restaurant opens at 10 AM to 8:30 PM. This place is one of the most convenient and best places to eat out because of their affordability, ranging from  $10 to $20. 

HUE has plenty of dishes for a cheap price, which means you can enjoy great dishes for a convenient cost. One of the dishes that is loved and recommended is Mi Quan, a yellow thick noodle dish with peanuts and a flavorful broth with tons of meat like beef or pig meat, peanuts and shrimp on top.

Thai elephant is a good restaurant too, offering many different types of food. The restaurant usually sells rice, but also includes Mild Pad Thai, which is a rice noodle dish covered in shrimp sauce giving it a mild flavorful dish.

One of the most recommended dishes that I recommend is their curry fried rice because it is the best combination of warm spicy fried rice and curry. Thai elephant is located on 3005 Silver creek road right across Target and it is the best place to try and explore new things.

If fried rice isn’t your thing, I recommend you try their noodle dish which is called Mild Pad Thai instead.
