Christmas Presents Students Received (and Gave)

SAN JOSE, CALIF.— Since Christmas is over, people have received their presents or have given them to friends and family. What were some of these Christmas gifts?

“I got a new pair of shoes for Christmas. I got the Nike Air Max 270’s for Christmas. I also got my mom and dad new mugs,” said Ethan Chi. The Silver Creek sophomore said he also wanted to do something nice for Christmas so he added: “Me and my friends all got presents for one of my cousins because he tore his ACL and couldn’t play basketball—we wanted to make him feel better.”

Ethan Le, a freshman at Silver Creek, said, “For Christmas me and my friends played White Elephant. We all got each other gifts, wrapped our gifts in the same wrapping paper, and then threw them into a big trash bag. I got a mystery box from VAT19, I think it had like confetti and snacks in there.”

“We took turns reaching in and grabbing a present randomly and we also stole gifts from each other. It was pretty fun and I ended up with a pack of pokemon cards,” E. Le added.

Another freshman, Hanna Le, said, “For Christmas I got money, boxes of legos, plushies, headphones, and lip products. I gave my friends plushies and key chains.”

H. Le also had intended to give a bunch of chocolates to her family members, but not all of them were in town and so she is still currently giving them out now.

Allen Nguyen, a freshman, said, “My brother got me new guitar strings, and a pin. I gave a Snoopy plushie to one of my classmates because my elective class held a Secret Santa.”
