Tayson Crump: The Joyful Morale Booster for SCHS Football Team

SAN JOSE, CALIF.—Tayson Crumps aura near teammates causes his enthusiasm to transfer the locker room to a more fun place, inspire teammates and help them perform better throughout the season.

Crump is a freshman that goes to Silver Creek High School and is currently on the football team. He has been playing football since he was a young; participating in flag football in 8th grade.

Joining the Silver Creek football team, Crump wanted to just do more than just play football. He wanted to contribute to his team community mentally as well. When he is taken out he decides to motivate and send positive messages to the team to encourage them to get their head in the game.

Crump was asked the question, “Why do you do what you do; such as trying your hardest to bring up the team’s vibes and feelings for the season?” he responded with, “I want to bring positivity to the team because as a player to a competitive sport I feel like your mental health can impact everyone. It’s just as important as physical health. If your team has a ten out of ten mentality then you can do way more things than having shit mentality. That’s why I try to keep things fun.” Crump is right. If someone is down and talking bad on every little thing. Things will start to crumble one by one. People won’t start having fun and things might be done without full capability. Crump feels like menthol has a great impact since there might’ve been situations where crump has fallen due to negativity and hardships. That’s why he wants to keep vibes happy and bright.

Danny Bravo, on the Silver Creek Football Team said, “By being the short bundle of joy he is; when he isn’t playing he encourages us, and always makes friends with the people on the team. And overall just loves to make funny jokes.” Crump actively brings positivity towards his teammates and has overall encouraged Bravo and many others to perform better even during tough games.
