SAN JOSE CALIF.—Every Halloween, students at Silver Creek High School get to wear costumes and here are the costumes that stand out the most among Silver Creek students.

Every year, during Halloween,  there is a costume contest at Silver Creek. During the day, students get to wear costumes to school and get voted on who has the best costumes. Students all over campus  have different and unique ideas for what to wear on that day. 

For the Class of 2028, it is their first Halloween at Silver Creek High School. Which means it has to have the best first experience. While interviewing them, their idea of a perfect Halloween is being with friends and having fun. 

“I want to be able to match with my friends on Halloween, and we are all planning to go to Target since it is right near the school and they all have cheap and affordable costumes,” says Zoe Tran from Class of 2028.

After interviewing students and doing a form online surveying students, they have come to a conclusion that these are the top five Halloween costumes that stand out the most among the Silver Creek students.

Funny costumes are always the safest option, it brings out humor and laughs that brings people together. There are also a lot of places to go and buy them including Target, Walmart,Spirit Halloween, and amazon. It is the number one most voted in the survey among the Silver Creek students.

Cupids is also very popular, it is a cute costume for Halloween and it is in the mix between simple and elegant. Whenever they want to go all out or just be simple, it is a good mix in between and is voted by students as second choice out of the whole survey. It could be found at Spirit Halloween located at 2171 Monterey Road, CA. 

Subway Surfers is one of the most popular games in the United States with over 4 billion lifetime downloads. Students could be Subway Surfers characters with a variety of options to choose from. It is a very creative Costume without making a lot of effort. One of the characters from Subway surfers is Tricky. It just involves oversize pants with a belt and red boxers with a red beanie and glasses which are optional.  Subway Surfers are also a really good costume to match with friends since there is a lot of character to be, it is also the third most popular costume voted on in the survey.

Onesies are also very popular and cute too, and you could choose from a variety of options. It is a very simple and effortless costume that is fun and engaging. They are very comfy and comfortable when going trick or treating too and since fall is starting to be a bit cold, it is a perfect costume to not freeze up. They could be found everywhere including Target, Amazon, Temu or Walmart so students could choose between online shopping or in store and what is the most convenient for them.  Onesies are also the fourth most popular costumes among the Silver Creek Students.

Pair costumes are also very fun with friends and family, and it brings everyone together. Either if it’s a big friend group or a duo, anyone could be matched with their buddy. Matching costumes on Halloween is also a very cute costume and it’s not a lot of effort at all, they could be anything and for everyone. If they want to make it themselves, these materials and items could be located in Micheals or any craft store. They are the final best costumes voted and among the Silver Creek Students.

Halloween is the season of fall and dressing up, anyone could be anything to want but these are most recommended costumes by the students in Silver Creek.  The costume contest is on Halloween and for everyone to bring their best costumes and enjoy the holiday and festival at Silver Creek.
