SAN JOSE CALIF.—On September 13, 2024 the lunch menu consisted of pork chili verde, bean and cheese burrito, spicy chicken wrap, breaded cheese pocket and pb and j Sandwich. I got the pork chili verde. When I got the food its presentation was not too appealing as it didn’t look appetizing. First bite was eaten with the bread provided with the pork chili. The bread was a little chewy at the start, but the pork and thick broth that was put in between the bread went very well with each other. However, the corn and beans that were served with the pork tasted very soggy. I described the taste as very inorganic. What I meant by this was I tasted the corn, but it had times where it didn’t taste like corn. This did not go well with the mushy texture. After finishing I interviewed one of his friends Tayson Crump about the pork chili verde. Crump said, “This meal was very wet but in a good way. Each part of the meal complimented each other” The rating I would give this Lunch is 7.9/10. Crump gave this meal an overall rating of 8.5/10. Crump stated, “This rating was given due to the high quality of flavors of the verde pork.”

On September 12, 2024 the lunch menu consisted of tri tip with cilantro rice, deluxe spicy chicken sandwich, chicken caesar salad, fresh cheese pizza and pb and j sandwich. The provided items when I got this meal was caesar salad, croutons, a piece of bread and salad dressing. One of my friends, Alexandre Rosa, got the caesar salad and when interviewing him about the caesar salad Rosa said, “the bread is very cold and has a little moisture in it.” I also described the texture of the bread as chewy. I agreed, saying that the bread was not enjoyable, and I put it aside to throw away later. I mixed dressing into the salad mixing everything together adding croutons after to prevent sogginess. After taking the first bite of the caesar salad I stated everything went well with one another and the dressing added a nice touch of flavor to the salad. The chicken tasted well seasoned with salt and pepper, and the lettuce tasted fresh. The croutons were crunchy in a good way, and tasted decent. Everything went well with each other; besides the piece of bread. The rating I gave this lunch is 7.3/10. Rosa gave the caesar salad a 8/10. Rosa added on saying “I liked how the dressing went well with the other ingredients, and how the salad tasted fresh.”
