Taheri stands out with his choices in clothing as a lot of his main pieces can be a little pricey. His current favorite brand is Entire Studios, a small luxury brand based in Los Angeles, California, and Auckland, New Zealand. His favorite pieces from this brand consist of the “A-1 Bomber” jacket priced at $300 and the “Heavy Gocar” sweatpants priced at $190. He likes that this brand produces good quality heavy-weight clothing that fits well.
Taheri began to focus on what he wore at the age of 13 because of his first job. Since he started making money, it fueled his obsession with good-quality fashion pieces. One of his favorite articles of clothing are his Balenciaga “Bouncer Sneakers” priced at $1250.
Even though he specifies that he’s, “not inspired by anyone specifically… being inspired is unoriginal,” he does pick up some ideas from certain celebrities. He says that if he were to switch closets with anyone, it would have to be Bol Bol, Manute Bol’s son. Bol wears mostly luxury streetwear pieces; specifically brands such as Vetements and Balenciaga.
Taheri’s advice for someone wanting to get more into fashion is to, “start layering first and practice proportions. Once you’ve got that down it’s much easier to branch out.”
Aside from fashion, Taheri also finds an interest in music. His current favorite artists are Frank Ocean, KanKan, and Isaur. These artists all specialize in drastically different genres such as R&B, Pluggnb, and Alternative Indie. His top three songs at the moment are Body by Narr, III. Urn by Childish Gambino, and Cartier Skeleton by KanKan. Overall, his music taste is extensive, spanning many different genres as he can find appreciation for many different sounds.
Differing from other students at Silver Creek, Taheri has a focus on fashion and music that is incomparable and unique as he isn’t affected by other people’s judgment.
