Inside Out is a heartwarming movie for everybody of all ages. The plot of this movie is about a girl named Riley who is 11 years-old and is going through the stages of puberty. Daily, she is guided by her emotions which then shows her personality and who she is as a person.

The trailer for Inside Out 2 reveals that Riley is now 13 with only one year passing between the two movies. Inside Out 2 will bring new emotions along with changes to the ones we already know. These changes are: anxiety, envy, ennui, and embarassment. On June 24, 2024, Inside Out 2 will be presenting in theaters. It has been almost nine years since the original release.

The first version of this movie was released in 2015, including only her basic emotions: joy, sadness, fear, disgust, and anger. These emotions helped her deal with life’s ups and downs. It was a great mix of fun and deep thinking, bringing together humor, important thinking, and emotions when being a young girl going through the process of puberty.

While exploring the life of how Riley acts, the point of this movie is to show how people feel and think. With the different emotions that are shown, we see that Riley’s life is full of thoughts, actions, and memories. This movie shows us how it is important to understand other people’s feelings. When we are able to understand their emotions, it makes our relationships stronger and helps us deal with challenging parts in life.

Everybody overcomes the feeling of emotions. Recently, Silver Creek has had a school event called Fantastics. At this event, senior students’ theme was Inside Out. After interviewing the three out of six main characters, this is what they have to say. “I played the role of Joy because it best suits me! I am someone with bright sense of humor.”, said Althea Umayam. “I wanted to play the role of anger because I wanted to participate at Fantastics and I do feel anger myself.” said Derek Tran. Brandon Mach says, “I feel anxiety especially when I think about my future. Therefore, during Fantastics I played the role of anxiety.”
