 SANJOSE CALIF.- Vincent Tran, a senior at Silver Creek High School,  the leader of silvercreeks boxing club and a boxing enthusiast has been able to introduce boxing to Silver Creeks campus in the form of a boxing club.

Vincent Tran is a multi-talented athlete, with an impressive track record in various sports such as cross country and wrestling. However, it was his experience with his friend Tri engaged in the exhilarating sport of boxing that started a passion within Vincent. Inspired by this display of strength and determination, Vincent established the boxing club at Silver Creek High School.

Vincent recognized the unique opportunity that was presented to both him and friends who would join the club. With the support from one of his coaches, he believed that engaging in boxing could bring numerous benefits beyond just physical fitness.What sets Vincent apart is not only his commitment to training but also his dedication to his academics. He understands the importance of prioritizing school work alongside pursuing athleticism. As he waits for club meets, Vincent utilizes any spare time by completing assignments and staying focused on maintaining good grades. Any time he has after he uses it to train or play games.

 Vincent believes boxing is one of the best forms of self defense and promoting it at silver creek is benefiting other people’s safety. He believes that the boxing club will help promote the sport in the silver creek community and encourage people to learn self defense. Vincent wants to share his hobby to build a community of people who want to learn boxing. He believes the club can help people who want to get into boxing without having to spend all the money. Vincent’s original passion for boxing has empowered all members of the club to pursue their best selves, both athletically and academically.
