Silver Creek High School’s Martial Arts Club Empowers Students

SAN JOSE, CALIF – Silver Creek High School’s Martial Arts Club is a standout program that has been making waves in our local community. Showing Silver Creek is not only known for its academic excellence, but also for its diverse extracurricular offerings. Fellow student, Aryan Kumar, is the treasurer of this club, and is willing to speak about this club to help students gain the confidence and skills they need. 

Kumar, a senior at Silver Creek High School, shares his enthusiasm for the club, stating, “We wanted to help students of Silver Creek learn more about self defense and the different techniques, while teaching them discipline and the skills they need if they were ever in a bad situation.” 

  The Martial Arts Club at Silver Creek High School offers a diverse range of martial arts disciplines, including Karate, Taekwondo, Jiu-Jitsu and more. It’s not just about learning the techniques; it’s about learning life skills that will serve students well in the future. 

Members are encouraged to set goals, work hard, and persevere in the face of challenges. The Silver Creek Martial Arts Club stands as a good resource for anyone looking to acquire the skills and confidence to protect themselves. It gives students a sense of reassurance that they will know what to do in case something happens to them.
