Opinions of The Nun II

SAN JOSE, CALIF – This new version after the release of The Nun may be the most favored this year. Once you watch this movie, maybe you will end up enjoying it just like the others have.

Sept. 8, 2023 is the release of this new movie. Although it isn’t based on a true story, the scheme makes it feel real. In the first movie which was released on Sept. 7, 2018, the focus is only on the three main characters. Sister Irene, Father Burke, and Maurice. But for now, there is more of a complex narrative.

When a priest is violently murdered in 1956, Sister Irene looks for something mysterious. When investigating, she comes face to face with a powerful evil, once again. It seems that people are enjoying this movie.

I’ve interviewed a few seniors here at Silver Creek High School and here’s what they have to say about it. Monica Tran says “I thought the movie was good, just some scenes don’t make sense to me.” Jade Hernandez and Gianna De Vincentis watched it together the other day. They both thought this was a good movie with a good storyline. Vincentis said “It was definitely better than the first movie.”, and Hernandez said “The story doesn’t end with a cliffhanger like most horror movies. Instead, we noticed clues that may lead to The Nun III.” Also a senior, Jocelyn Serrano, who loves watching horror films, stated that the film isn’t as good as others she has seen. Her personal favorites are Scream and The Conjuring series.

After asking around everyone’s opinion about the movie, I would say it’s safe to say that it’s a pretty good movie. Others seem to be enjoying it because there were more positive reviews than negatives.
