When some people think of high school they think of a place where having fun is impossible. But when Guizar was asked about her high school experience she said it was better than what people would expect. Out of all the events she has been to, Guizar claims that Homecoming of 2021 was her favorite. Though people who went have said that it was not the best, Guizar said that her friends made the most out of their experience to make it much better.
Guizar plans on going to West Valley Community College after she graduates but says she had always wanted to go to a college by the beach. She believes that people miss opportunities to travel when they are still young so she wishes to travel the world in the future
Guizar has many fond memories of high school but her favorite was simply sitting and hanging out with friends at lunch. The reason memories like these were her favorite was because they had been sitting in the same spot since freshman year. Guizar will miss her friends the most. Though Guizar can meet with friends outside of school she claims that “It would not be the same without seeing each other almost every day and the connections with friends would not be the same”
As a hobby, Guizar enjoys writing and reading. Guizar’s favorite food is Enfrijoladas because when she is sad her grandma would make it for her. Enfrijoladas are corn tortillas in coarsely pureed black beans. Guizar’s favorite colors are pink and green and her favorite holiday is Valentine’s day. To incoming freshman, Guizar says that some advice would be don’t be afraid to make new friends and make sure to surround yourself with good people
