A Strong Start for The Silver Creek Softball Team’s 2023 Season

SAN JOSE, CALIF.⸻The Silver Creek Softball Team started their season in the beginning of February and has had an astoundingly strong start winning all of their games so far this season.

The dynamic of the season has changed quite a bit since last season. To start, Rolly Vital is now the new head coach for the Varsity team. He hopes to help improve the softball program at silver Creek to become stronger in the next coming years. Also, for the first time in years, Silver Creek finally has a Junior Varsity softball team!

So far this season, the Varsity team has played two non-league games. The first game they won 10-6 against Fremont High School. For their second game they took a breathtaking win of 30-3 against San Jose High School. The first league game for the team will be on April 5 against Ann Sobrato High School. With how the season has been going, the team is expected to have a great rest of the season.
