SAN JOSE, CALIF. — UPDATE: DANCE CANCELED, Silver Creek High School presents “LA LA LAND, a lovely night” on Feb. 17, 2023, a night that was soon to be remembered filled with laughter and fun. 

It’s been a while since homecoming, and many were excited about our upcoming school dance, due to unknown reasons school dance will no longer happen. Doors will remain open from 7 p.m. – 10 p.m. The event will take place from 7 p.m. – 10 p.m. in the large gym. Students are expected to bring their student ID cards and tickets for entrance to the dance.

Tickets will not be sold at the door, so remember to purchase them after school and during lunch. It’s recommended to bring money as there will be food sold at the event. There will be no re-entry allowed once you enter this event. The school dance will be featuring flipbooks, photobooths to take pictures with friends, and an awesome DJ (@eflmusic on Instagram). The theme of the dance is based on a very popular movie “La La Land”

which was released in 2016. The dance had many fun events to be excited about, but there will be many more events to look forward to at silver creek. Don’t forget, refunds for purchased tickets will be processed after the break.
