SAN JOSE CALIF.– Puss in Boots: The Last Wish was the third film of the Puss in Boots franchise. The first 2 films from the franchise were released in the years 2011-2012. December 21, 2022 was when the series returned and shocked fans.

Puss in Boots: The Last Wish was released on December 21, 2022 with a budget of about 90 million USD. Puss in Boots the movie earned 12.4 million dollars opening weekend. As of January 23, 2023 it has tripled the amount of the budget at a remarkable worldwide total of 298.6 million dollars.With 127.6 million dollars in the US and Canada and 171 million dollars in other territories.

With it’s impressive box office performance, Puss in Boots made it obvious that the feedback of the release would be phenomenal. The people loved this movie. When Silver Creek student Johnny Nguyen was asked for his thoughts on the movie he said “very good I loved death, the animation, the humor, and the storytelling”.The movie he Puss in Boots was so liked that it was nominated for 49 awards during the Oscars. Puss in Boots also has a 95% on rotten tomatoes.

Although Puss in Boots was targeted towards a younger audience, the real world situations that the film deals with is what appeals to the older audience. In a scene, Puss runs from death itself, he then collapses and has a panic attack. The reason this is important is because it can help viewers think about their own experiences and seek help. Also it brings awareness to panic attacks and anxiety and shows that you can recover from things like this and that it is normal.

Puss in Boots:The Last Wish is all about Puss being on his last life and him trying to get them back with a wish. Throughout the movie Puss is trying to get this wish whilst being chased by death itself in the form of a wolf. The reason Death has come to kill Puss is because Puss wastes his lives with reckless abandon. At the end Death ends up not killing Puss because Puss is he has left and it shows Death that he has changed.
