SAN JOSE, CALIF. – On Sept. 17, Lady Gaga stopped her recent concert in Miami due to dangerous lighting strikes and later apologized to fans for the trouble.
Gaga’s final concert halted too dangerous for the star and many fans watching the performance.
Lightning started to strike around Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium. “I’m sorry that we can’t finish, but I don’t want to put your life in danger, and I don’t want to put our life in danger. So thank you, get home safely”, said Gaga. She stated in the video recorded by a fan that attended. Gaga was expected to continue her show after the issue, unfortunately, she was forced to disappoint her fans.
Soon after, Gaga went live on Instagram tearfully apologizing to many of her fans for having to stop mid-show, due to the storm. Gaga explained how sorry she was since the tour had been delayed for two years due to Covid-19.
Many fans didn’t have any complaints about the situation, and they understood what was happening at the time. Maritza Ortega, a Silver Creek student said “I wasn’t able to go to Miami for the concert, but I did feel very bad for the other fans. I watched her live and I did feel very bad for her. I’m a huge fan of hers and I understand why the concert had to be stopped”.
The singer expected to finish the world tour in Miami, as it was her final stop. Gaga never expected the unforeseen circumstances. A fan threw appreciated the sentiments of fans throwing flowers for her.
