SAN JOSE, CALIF. — On Jan. 28 the lovable actress, Lana Condor, from Netflix’s “To All the Boys I’ve Loved” announced her engagement with Anthony De La Torre through a wholesome Instagram post.  

Born in Vietnam, but raised in Chicago, Condor is a 24 year-old American actress, producer and singer who is well known for portraying Lara Jean Covey in the romantic comedy film series, To All the Boys (2018-2021). De La Torre, 28 year-old American actor, singer and songwriter is popular for his role as Henry Turner in the famed “Pirates of the Caribbean.”

Condor in the caption revealed, “Saying YES was the easiest decision I’ve ever made. I consider myself the absolute luckiest woman alive to live in your sphere. Aside from my father, without a doubt, you are the greatest man in the world. Emmy & Timmy said it’s about time mommy & daddy got engaged!!!”

Through this post, she features multiple photos with her soon-to-be husband and her two dogs she describes as her children. Condor had mentioned in the past, a heartwarming detail about her children, she specifically named one of her dogs “Emmy” because she had met De La Torre at the 2015 Emmys.

A student and fan of Condor mentions “Good for her, but that should be me!” However, they are in full support with the couple’s news as they think that they’re a good and healthy match.

What is even sweeter about this long term relationship is De La Torre had even worked with a Vietnamese company (@parisjewellerscanada) to lay out a design for their engagement ring to be more connected to Condor’s heritage. 

Condor’s reply to his consideration was, “The fact he knew how important it was to me that he’d collaborate w/ a Vietnamese company to help design my ring is a testament to just how truly thoughtful he always is. I cannot wait to be your wife, baby. I love you a million times over.” This cute message has been shared on multiple platforms by Condor to show the world of her lovely engagement and future husband.
