SAN JOSE, CALIF. — The newest addition to the James Bond franchise, “No Time to Die” released on Oct 8, 2021 and has had fans on the edge of their seats.
Students at Silver Creek high school had different thoughts on the James Bond movie that was recently released. Most people were surprised and shocked by the unprecedented ending of the movie. Many were left speechless on how the epic Bond saga came to an end.
Kunal Kanda, a senior here at Silver Creek High School said, “I was a little confused and asked myself, ‘Wait, that’s it’ over and over in my head. The way he just dies and sacrifices himself to save the world was a lot to take in.” Many people in the Silver Creek community thought it was an incredible addition to the James Bond collection. Adding, “It was a thrilling action-packed movie. It’s on par with Skyfall and Casino Royale.”
There’s another side of the audience where many people like it but are a little upset about it. Avi Ratnaparkhi said,“It just hit me that Craig David is officially done playing Bond. He was my favorite Bond and I’m going to miss him in the role.” A lot of fans are just bummed that Craig David is done with Bond films. The most common thing everyone is saying is that “All the actors and actresses were presented well. Overall, it was a great way to end the Bond Legacy.”
“No Time to Die” produced a total of $313.2 million so far around the world. It is the highest-earning movie of 2021 at the domestic box office even after barely getting released. It has been successful so far and people in Silver Creek more than ever seem to love it. Fans are hoping for the success of the movie as it is the end of the franchise and an end to new beginnings.
