The long, anticipated wait for the finale of Attack on Titan comes out after fans wait for over a year to find out what happens next.

Attack on Titan has been quite the popular anime over the years. It’s packed with action and cliff-hanging scenes which only makes the audience yearn for more. It originally premiered in 2013 and quickly rose to the top, gaining popularity and a huge fanbase. The storyline consists of a world where the last of humanity must protect themselves from these titans, otherwise known as these enormous monsters. They live in between walls and must work together as they’re the last hope for humanity. They aim to defeat all the titans and learn about what really happened to humanity.

The final season was released on December 13, 2020 at 3:45 P.M EST. This left many fans hyped for the season, but they were also let down after it was announced that there would be less episodes than the previous seasons. Attack on Titan is streamable on Crunchyroll, Funimation, and Hulu. 

I’m excited to see what humanity decides to do after learning about the history, especially being left off of such a cliffhanger. Due to that, it only made me curious on what could possibly happen and I started to imagine different scenarios and theories. There were so many twists and turns to this anime and I highly recommend watching it! For spoilers sake, I can’t say too much about the anime, but you’ll just have to watch it for yourself!

This season consists of 16 episodes, rather than the usual 22 episodes. Producers say that the season will be split into two parts. People aren’t happy with the short amount of episodes because of all the chapters (from the manga) that they have to cover. It’s expected that this will be quite the intense season as it comes to an end. 

Attack on Titan is the anime to watch if you enjoy watching action, fantasy, and apocalyptic scenes. It’s jam packed with intense, action scenes, and it’s filled with many plot twists that will leave you speechless. It’s also a journey getting to really understand the personalities of each character. Sometimes you can feel as if you’re in the anime yourself.  Watching this anime is quite the rollercoaster, and it’s definitely something that you want to binge watch. There are some scenes that are gory so if you’ve got a soft stomach, then this isn’t for you!
