ATEEZ makes a comeback with the new album “ZERO: FEVER Part 1” and surpasses their previous record of 62,833 copies.
ATEEZ is an 8-member boy group under KQ Entertainment. They debuted on October 24, 2018, with a total of 400 physical albums, having no pre-debut promotions and coming from a small, unpopular company.
On January 6, 2020, the group released their fourth EP “Treasure Epilogue: Action to Answer,” peaking at a total of 62,833 physical album sales, making that their highest record at the time and bringing in more than half of the current fandom “Atiny.”
Now, 6 months later, as of July 29, 2020, ATEEZ comes back with their fifth mini-album “ZERO: FEVER Part 1. The album contained two title tracks used for promotions; “INCEPTION” and “THANXX.”
“ZERO: FEVER Part 1” sold 110,000+ copies on the first day! They passed 233,339 copies in the first week, making that number almost quadruple the previous album’s. Furthermore, ATEEZ earns more fans who they call “Atiny,” a combination of “Ateez” and “destiny.” This addition to the fandom earned them two new music show trophies for the first week of promoting “INCEPTION.”
What will they achieve next?
